Today was the first day of the new job. Somehow survived. It is very, very different. By working by myself for so many years I've been lucky enough to be away from personalities, back biting, etc. Well that stuff's all there. So I've decided to just go in, stay in my cube, be polite, work hard and go home. I cannot deal with that crap. I'll keep myself to myself. That will be best for everyone.

Today's the last day for cable. With Time Warner removing BBC America and Discovery Health from the package we got most of the time there is nothing we are interested in to watch. We've survived without cable before. Ending up learning a lot by watching tons of PBS so it might not be a bad thing. LOL

Living off my wonderful DVR's from mightyoneslover. Waking The Dead, Life On Mars, A & E, New Tricks. It's been heavenly. Also thanks to thisiszircon's wonderful Remains Of The Day and Hannibal/Clarice fics been revisiting one of my early obs - Anthony Hopkins. Hopeless romantic I am I'm reliving my total love of Shadowlands. With all the stuff on DVD I have there's really no reason to have cable so it'll be a win win thing I'd guess.

Life around here has been so exciting. NOT! LOL

I just want to thank my flist for all the words of support. It went well, better than I could have hoped for. I finally got to let a friend know how much she helped me out the summer of 88' when L broke my heart. It was funny how many people didn't even know I'd lived in town. I really need to quit being so hard on myself. I'm glad I went. It was a fun time.

Thank you again flist. You guys are the best!
